Speaking of Brawn GP, Autosport.com has a mess of Q&As with the major players: Jenson Button, Rubens Barrichello, and the big man himself. Worth checking out.

Here’s a sample:

Brawn: “If the management group, because it is not just myself, had not taken this task on, there would be no team. Then all of the staff would have been made redundant. So, this gives us an opportunity.”

Button: “I really wanted to be with this team in 2009 and that is why I turned down other possibilities. This is for sure the best choice for me.”

Barrichello: “I don’t think my chance came this winter. I think my chance started when I was running for Ferrari. Some people might not know my speed, but Ross Brawn does.”

There seems to be a reserved confidence coming out of the team, maybe there is something to that speed we’ve seen the past couple of days... Don't miss the top stories of the day, subscribe to the SpeedRead Web newspaper now! -- Email SpeedRead -- Learn more about author C.D. Six
