Max stands firm

Max Mosley has something to say if you are a team looking playing hardball over the 2010 regulations.

"If you want to formulate your own rules, then you can organise your own championship."

F1 2009 - Rd6 Monaco GP - Button Dominates AGAIN - 5 Wins in 6 Races

That's the word being reported by the BBC, via Swiss magazine Motorsport Aktuell.

Things had been somewhat silent in the FIA camp following FOTA's conditional application for entry into the 2010 championship, but it now seems a compromise my not be as close to reality as we were led to believe in the wake of the Monaco weekend.

Meanwhile, the available 13 spaces continue to be gobbled up by fledgling outfits of varying degrees of viability.

For those who buy the resurrection of the March name, it should be no surprise that the latest blast from the past is Brabham, the name being applied to a team built from the ashes of the Super Aguri team (and no attachment in any way to the Brabham family).

For those counting at home, that makes ten, enough to run a championship (of sorts).
