Red Bull dominate Friday at Silverstone

With so much going on off the track, it might have escaped notice Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber put it to the Brawn boys that they mean to challenge at this weekend's final appearance at Silverstone.

The duo led both sessions, heading Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello in the first, and besting a surprising third place Adrian Sutil in the second.

But it isn't all sunshine and flowers, as Webber's car rolled to a stop before the end on the second session with some kind of gremlin.

The second session saw the Brawn cars much further back, Button in particular complaining about grip, but we have seen this before and Brawn's attention may have been focused on race preparation rather than qualifying runs.

Silverstone seems to suit the Red Bulls, though, and it should be interesting to see how it shakes out Saturday.
