Contract extension for Webber

Win a race, get a new contract.

F1 Grand Prix of Hungary - Previews

Surely it wasn't planned that way, but that's how it worked out for Red Bull's Mark Webber, who has signed a new contract keeping him with the team in 2010.

“His recent results show he is on the form of his life – most notably with his recent win at the German GP – and he has the motivation to deliver at the highest level, ” said team principal Christian Horner. “It was therefore a straightforward decision to extend the relationship. We believe that the driver line-up of Mark and Sebastian is one of the strongest in the sport.”

Plus, Jaime Alguersuari may have gotten the ride, but Sebastien Loeb is still downplaying he's moving to F1 after the rally season to drive for STR.
