Relatively quiet

Seems teams are taking this three week break to heart, with little of note happening since the sides reached an agreement in Paris and Max Mosley threatened to tear it up.

The little news in F1 has been reflected in the lack of news here at SpeedRead, but we’ll be back to the racing this weekend in Germany, and it will be interesting to see if Brawn and Button have an answer for Red Bull.

Still, it wasn’t all quiet, as Bernie Ecclestone made some odd comments that managed to draw world condemnation...

... And US F1’s Peter Windsor revealed, well, very little about a possible tie-up with YouTube.

“I did see Chad at Silverstone, he was around and it was good to see him there. People have tied him to our team, which is incredibly flattering, and who knows?”
