Former Ferrari team principal Jean Todt, endorsed earlier this week by Max Mosley for the presidency of the FIA, has officially confirmed he will run.

He joins former world rally champion Ari Vatanen in the running for Max Mosley's position.
In a letter to the FIA, Todt laid out his proposed leadership team and promised to"continue and expand the outstanding work of President Mosley."
Todt's close affiliation with Ferrari is sure to disturb FOTA, who have been calling for an independent candidate.
