Australia: Qualifying

It's a Red Bull front row in Melbourne, with Sebastian Vettel on pole.

It's likely Red Bull are on to something, and the other teams are in a bind. Rumors are swirling that the team is operating a device to illegally adjust the ride height of the car, something Red Bull flatly denies. A case of "if you can't beat them, challenge the legality of their car," perhaps?

At any rate, Ross Brawn has asked the FIA to look at it, in "fairness" to Red Bull.

Meanwhile, Michael Schumacher was again out-qualified by his younger teammate, Nico Rosberg, but complained of being blocked by Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton.

Speaking of Hamilton, his weekend continues to get worse. Following having his road car impounded by police for overzealous driving, the McLaren driver saw himself unable to get into the top 10 shootout, and lines up 11th on the grid.
