Hamilton avoids second penalty

McLaren Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton of Britain signs autographs for fans after the qualifying session at the Japanese F1 Grand Prix at the Suzuka circuit October 10, 2010. Hamilton qualified third, but his Japanese Grand Prix nightmare intensified on Saturday when McLaren said their Formula One title contender would have a five-place penalty on the starting grid for a gearbox change.
