Honoring Sir Frank Williams

The BBC honored Sir Frank Williams with the Helen Rollason Award, for 'outstanding achievement in the face of adversity,' at its Personality of the Year awards ceremony on Sunday.

Damon Hill presented the award, and his wife Virginia, Patrick Head, and Adam Parr joined him on stage along with other F1 personalities.

In the following video from the summer, the co-founder and boss of the Williams Formula 1 team talked to the BBC's Jake Humphrey about life and Formula 1.

"It was an unforgettable evening. Mine has been a great journey, one I'd love to do again if I was younger. I wouldn't try and do anything differently, except perhaps try and avoid the accidents. I wouldn’t have received this award without the assistance and energy of everyone at Williams, especially Patrick, and, of course, my wife and family, so my thanks go to them." - Sir Frank Williams
